baby, i'm ready now

last tuesday i went to the doctor's and she said i was already dialated to a 3. 

for me that's far, and i go F-A-S-T after that.

eek!

yes hannah was registered in a school (relief),

but we still hadn't found a rental, after an extensive 2 1/2 month search!

we've had the funniest luck.

i really have to laugh about it.

didn't think rental searching could be so difficult!

like when we were about to sign on this AWESOME house and the current tenants, who were separated, decided that very last moment to reconcile and renew their lease.

i'm happy for them...but really?!?!

i became a little panicked as to how/when we'd figure out this important part of our life.

thankfully, the next day i found a posting of a cute house.

we jumped on it, like we have all options like it.

but it ACTUALLY came through!

we saw it thursday morning.

application was in by 11am.

and a lease (a real, tangible LEASE) was signed by 4pm.

wa-hooooooo!!!

the landlord emailed me about something later that night, and my instinct was to think, 

"oh no. what loophole did i miss?!  was it all too good to be true?!"

we move in on september 24th!!!

years ago i would have imagined welcoming our fourth under slightly more "organized" conditions.

but this has all really taught me to let go.

just be grateful.

do what you can.

focus on what's more important

and find joy in the "more important" that's RIGHT in front of you.

now, baby girl, i'm ready for you.  

officially.

hannah is registered at her new school, as of today.

i've done my best to get things in order.

madeline's preschool is squared away.

i've had the precious pre-baby alone time with the kids individually, especially grant who has no idea what's coming his way. 

i've caught up on the blog.

though my due date is september 20th,

i'm scheduled to be induced tomorrow morning, the 14th.

baby girl has a big head...ouch!  haha.

so glad she didn't decide to make an early appearance,

but now,

i can't WAIT to meet this new addition to our family.
