more posts been meaning to post...

{family night}
& painting bird houses from the easter bunny

daddy never looked so handsome coming home from WORK!
family night never felt so special!
and spring has never looked so beautiful!!

{so her...}

{easter sunday}
{pictures taken post naps, dinner, play, candy, rain/humidity...so you can imagine they were a little dirty}

while her sister couldn't hold still for one shot, hannah really wanter her own photo shoot.

she's feeling it now...

one of his favorite places

j e l l y b e a n s
1. beg
2. thank with a smile
3. stuff
4. repeat

{the hunt}

what could be more dreamy than enjoying your loot by the pool with friends??

{all boy}

i really didn't believe people when they were so extreme in their claim that there were such differences between boys and girls at such a young age...

at 15 1/2 months, i'm a believer!
how can i not hope for another little boy??!!

 everything about him absolutely melts me.
i can't get enough of his grunts, expressions, and obsessions (brooms, vacuums, cars, wheels, balls, bikes, scooters, trucks)

ever since he got tubes in his ears last month,
he has been trying to voice and identify everything in his world, like...

wut-wut  for truck
bob-ble  for bottle
ah-oom  for vaccum
brrr-brrr  for broom
poohhhh  for poop
wow  for wow!
nagh-nagh  for goodnight and/or goodbye
agh-yy  for doggy

{before daddy went back to work...}

we tried to enjoy every last minute of freedom we could with him, by going on a bike ride down town, and checking out the national building museum and zoo (forgot to take pics there)

we're going to miss having him with us during the day!

{sewing class}

wish anna was in this picture!
 last month, i "taught" (if i can even claim that!), a little sewing class to hannah and our dear neighbor/friend/2nd cousin, Anna.
the girls made monster pillows...and in the process learned the backstitch, whipstich, embroidery and how to sew on buttons.
they were so proud of themselves!
as am i!

{big & little}

on this particular day,
one was feeling big.
one was feeling little.
guess which is which.

xoxo...i'm glad they have each other...xoxo

I think Hannah officially knows how to sew better than I do now.

Congrats on Steve's job and baby #4!
