i am so proud of this man.
stephen's diploma means a lot to our family.
but a lot more than simply the obvious reasons for receiving it.
to us it represents the behind the scenes.
it represents stephen's unwavering integrity.
his two jobs while in school full-time.
his winter bike ride home for family dinner, prayer, and bedtime kisses before returning to campus.
taking my phone calls mid-class.
his readiness to calm little hearts. (and big ones too)
it represents what we went through as a couple and as a family over the last two years.
and that we are better and closer for it all.
he is leaving Georgetown University's MBA program a more charming husband and loving father. more resolute in his character, sure of his faith, and giving all the while.
waaa-hoooooooo!!!
