sweet things of this three year old...
she puts her hands on her hips to walk fancy. (as seen below)
she puts her hands on her hips to look mad.
she is always holding herself for the need to tinkle. (also, as seen below)
she still can't pronounce the letters g, c, k, s, d, r...which makes for really cute wording.
she still giggles every time she sees grant and shouts, "oh, fwant! he's so suutie pie!"
she will do anything for a foot rub.
9 out of 10 times, on her way to do most anything, she will be sidetracked by a book and stop and read for a while.
she is quick to stick up for her big sister. even if she is the "little" sister.
she is a head-over-heels daddy's girl.
her swimming arm floaties are bigger than her head.
she loves to tell the same funny story over and over again. and laughs just as hard as the first time.
she would happily live on a liquid diet if allowed.
grant is her biggest motivator...and so we keep grant always "watching her to learn how to..."
she only eats the frosting off of cupcakes but still loves the whole cupcake.
she is full of love, life, and spontaneity.
madeline's party theme:

...a fancy pink tea party...
festivities included getting fancy with "makeup", dresses, jewelry, "earings"; a fancy fashion show (of course. its a favorite around here); decorating fancy place mats; an elegant tea party with dainty nibblers; peent tuptates (a.k.a. pink cupcakes); and for favors, madeline's absolute favorite, irresistible, jumbo pink lollipops!
the next day...
i heard a soft whispering from the dinning room and found this...
a dressed-up, day-old-pig-tale wearing, 3 year & 1 day, little girl reliving her tea party birthday.
oh how we love you madeline kay!

oh me oh my. this is the fanciest pink tea party i've ever seen! i seriously am in love with madeline. she has the best personality. please throw a pink tea party for your birthday and make sure i'm invited :)
She is just the sweetest thing. We love tea parties around here...in fact, Adam and Charlotte had one this evening while I was in class. :) I cannot believe how fast these kids grow up. We are so proud of Steve for graduating!!! Great things are sure to come your way!!! ~Jeffi
