they really are sneaky little things. bet your bottom dollar we weren't going to let those little leprechauns escape saint patty's day without sharing a treasure or two with us.
pre-nap: decorate little treasure boxes. glue. markers. stickers. anything to attract the little green friends our way. set boxes on window sill...
post-nap: treasure boxes are gone! search high and low. find glittering, green treasure boxes (the crafty leprechauns like to turn everything green and glittery while you sleep) hidden in a little nook. enjoy yer ole' treasures---chocolate gold coins, marbles, pretty rocks, mini lady bugs.
"those sneaky little leprechauns!!" yell hannah, madeline, and parker (the little girl we watch) as they look out the window, looking for any signs of green movement scurrying off.
meanwhile....
the real pot ol' gold was staying at the hospital.

{i love this picture of jane}
thanks james and jane for bringing the first nephew (finally, we can claim the titles of uncle steve & aunt callie. love it.) and first cousin for hannah and madeline! yippity-doo!
though baby lucas is destined to be the slave, dog, servant, pet, etc. during cousin playtime for the next 15 years...lucas has earned the admiration of two doting cousins.

The leprechaun idea is splendid! Can I steal it some day in a couple of years? You are so good with your girls. You let them be little girls so well.
You are such a fun mama
Can I be one of your kids one day? You are the cutest mom!
Yeah! jane and james had the baby. I never hear about anything here in Oregon. Tell them congrats for me!
