in love with

she did it! my incredibly talented and creative sister-in-law, alie, opened her own shop in brooklyn at the end of last year and business is really taking off! her fresh, fun paper-ing makes me drool...i'm just glad i can live vicariously through her! her "paper goodies" are unique and set her shop apart from any other stationary store i've see. gotta check {Paper Love}

love for Paper Love is spreading fast! check out the spotlight blurb {here}. hip-hip-horay alie!

 *funny/but-not-so-funny side note: so i've been absolutely dying to visit alie since she opened her shop...but with the holidays and such, the window of opportunity was looking pretty bleak. finally, we picked a weekend and turned it into a fun "sisters" weekend {alie, me, liz, jane, and my sister, marta}. couldn't wait. we all met up friday night in nyc and, luckily, we got to enjoy a fun dinner together before trouble hit...i woke up saturday morning with the stomach flu. yuck!! what makes matters worse?? i didn't even get to see the shop!! we left later on saturday...and i'm still keeping my fingers crossed that no one else has to suffer "its" wrath. despite the hurdle, i'm still determined. i can't wait to get my hands on some cheery cards and journals (a girl can never have too many journals and blank little books...i'm a firm believer).

I forwarded the stores information to Taylor's brother who lives in Brooklyn so hopefully he'll bring a little business in! The store looks amazing.
