this is bliss

six must-know's about this six month old:

1. he "mmmm's" loudly while he downs his carrots and cries if i take too long in between bites

2. he smiles with his whole body...

nose sniffles, arms flapping, legs kicking, back arching

3. he's got a big noggin'. 

its off the charts!

4. poor thing has major allergies to the things i eat...

lip swells, rashes, spits up like mad, screams in pain when i eat any dairy, nuts, eggs, shellfish, and maybe strawberries. is there anything delightful left in this world for us to eat?? finally old enough to see the allergist in a week...

5. he loves to wear socks on his little hands at bedtime. 

we started doing it to keep him from scratching his poor face when he was a newborn, then kept doing it when he had a rash from some mysterious allergic reaction, and now keep doing in response to his happy giggles. 

6. he has not one now, but two, teefies!

grant is simply oh so loveable!!
