is this little peanut a boy or a girl??
what in the world are we going to name it?? (ideas welcome!)
and when is it coming??
{cast your vote in the poll to left or in comments...winner gets to name our child*}
*yea right. how about bragging rights??
meanwhile...
i'm waddling around in ultra "nesting" mode (basic baby preparations/nesting plus a new year)... basically i'm hurrying to accomplish in the next week my new years resolutions that have carried over for the past 3 years mixed with a few other to do's:
- update blog (just updated 8 outdated blog posts in record time)
- create private blogs to journal about the girls individually
- clean up and back up all computer files, video, pictures
- upload/ burn to dvd all family videos (still on the upload/assemble phase)
- burn pictures to cds by year
- finish baby projects/preparations
- create yearly family blog books
- print family album pictures
- update our family miracles/blessings book for this past year
- decide on a name for the chil' (delegating this one to steve...if its a boy. thought it was time to let go of a little control, especially since the babe is due the day before his birthday. so can i check that off??)
- finish reading The Book of Mormon by the time baby comes
- develop a whole lot of patience. fast. especially during the bedtime hour. (shoot. little nervous about this one)
i will not lie. i'm really nervous about baby #3. really. the first baby was an adjustment, but i was ready for it. the second was more to juggle but they entertained each other so well and have just become the best of friends. and the third?...well, i've always just heard people say things like, "expect your world to be turned upside down when baby #3 comes. outnumbered, even with 2 sets of hands. and really hope i don't end up just trying to survive each day rather than enjoy it with these precious little ones. i'm nervous if i'll have enough patience to parent 3 children, alone, while steve is at school/work (see above goal). i'm nervous that we'll be more burdensome to my generous in-laws who are allowing us to live in their basement (will i be able to pick up after the kids? make dinner? contribute with the help around the house??).
not trying to be pessimistic. just realistic. with no surprises. and then hoping i'll say to myself, "oh, this isn't so bad."
any other "no surprises" tips/information/ideas are much appreciated...please.
{on a sweeter note, madeline and hannah are already OBSESSED with baby...baby is already apart of our family. baby is regularly kissed, hugged, snuggled, loved via my tummy. baby receives daily words of love, especially from madeline. baby is prayed for by two big sisters atleast twice daily. and baby has been included in all of hannah's family portraits since october. this baby is and will be loved. now that's for sure.}

What a fun Christmas. We are planning a driving trip this summer to visit the church sites in New York. We are also going to be in Washington DC for a couple of days. We are going to show the kids the DC temple (where my family got sealed in 1975, when I was little). Could you email me your phone #, maybe we can see you while we are there.
I won't lie, I was excited to find your family back in the blogging world. My guess for your #3 is girl #3. We're having a girl this time! Names...hmm...Leah, Anna, Alexis, Caroline, Roni (short for Veronica), I don't know.
I'm hoping there will be an update when the baby arrives...it's the only way I know about your cute family!
Don't worry about having three kids- you'll do great. Callie turned two and a month later I had three kids. And trust me- if I can do it, anyone can. But patience is a really good goal for when you are outnumbered :) Good luck!
My guess is that the baby is a girl. They seem to come in threes!
Hmm...I have no idea what your little babe will be, but I'll vote boy just so our kids can be friends! Not that being boy, girl stops Hannah and Ches. Plus, I talked to Hannah today, and it seems she is pulling for a boy "because I already have a sister, but I don't have a brother."
Looks like you guys had a great Christmas!
YOU LOOK WAY TOO CUTE!!!! and i thought we could be friends:) 3 was easy for me because gray rocked. 4 rocked my world for the first few weeks. i was even saying i was done, and i meant it. i prayed for a healthy child and not or an easy one. my suggeston, pray for both:) i have seen you mother and you are unbelievable!! you will be just as amazing with number 3. you totally rock!
hannahs hair is getting so long!
ps- my guess is boy
i'm guessing a girl. you seem born to breed a family of girls, which i can appreciate because i come from a family of all girls. just love me some sisters. we're getting close, aren't we?? I WANT THIS BABY OUT! you look so great though. and i love that you have little blogs for each girl. what a great idea. i might have to copy you.
what about margaret?
Well, if it is a girl we can call Steve an "X-Men"...but I of course hope you get a boy to mix it up a bit. We love the name Grant. For a girl I love the name Felicity. I cannot wait to hear the news!!! Miss you kids. Give the girls a squeeze for me! ~Jeffi
I have no idea what you'll have, I always guess wrong for everyone! You'll do great though, and I honestly thought going from 2 to 3 wasn't as hard as I set myself up for. Can't wait to hear!
Fun to read all of your blog updates. And you look fantastic, by the way, for being due in a week. Good luck! Hope all goes wonderfully well.
