a career change

a nearly completed graduate degree (while holding two jobs)

and we still feel like two turtle doves.

after spending the afternoon down in dc for a play at ford's theatre (thanks to my thoughtful in-laws), we cozied up in the old ebbitt grill restaurant and reminisced how we have come to where we are. and how we are so happy at where we are.

6 years have gone by...we have gone through a lot, grown a lot, and experienced a whole lot together...

but, thankfully we both agree, we feel like two turtle doves more than ever. looking back at videos/pictures of when we were dating, engaged, and first married is so much fun... but we never could have imagined that what we feel for each other could be this good. there is a security, understanding, love that neither of us have ever shared or experienced with anyone else, or even thought possible.

just so glad that, so far, the game of life has strengthened our marriage rather than gotten the best of us.

and i'm just so glad he's mine. and i'm his. forever.
