this piece of green burlap, a blunt needle, and embroidery thread have entertained her for the past 2 days!
randomly, throughout each day, hannah would stop whatever she was doing and shout, "oh! my project! i better get back to work on my project!" and then she'd scurry back to her project. and get back to "work".
what greater joy than to see one of my own little creations creating something of her own and finding so much confidence and fulfillment in it?!

Two things, Frist, I just read what happened to your daughter! I am so sorry! That must have been such a nightmare, but it is also such a blessing that she is okay. I saw her at Stake conference and had no idea anything had happened, she looks great and is so cute!
Second, your wardrobe is AMAZING! I too saw the same thing at anthropologie and I took about 10 pictures of the inside so I could have my husband make it for me. I LOVED IT! REALLY DEPRESSING that you did it yourself, I am so not gifted in that area, but you have inspired me to MAYBE try :)
Just found your blog, hope you don't mind me peaking.
So cute! She is going to be so creative and crafty just like her momma
This is TOO cute! I love your pumpkins also.....you guys are so creative. :) Hey, my sister is naming her baby Madeline. Fun eh? Hope all is great! ~Jeffi
