scenario: stephen henry...3rd grade...landon prep school...halloween day
steve animatedly enters the classroom dressed in his peter pan best.
steve: ta-dah! (i like to imagine he strikes a peter pan pose as well.)
peer (on the verge of mockery): you're not peter pan are you?!
steve (using his quick whit): nooo. of course not. i'm...Link...from Zelda. (the nintendo game)
peer: ooooh. awesome! (they begin to sword fight...steve using his little peter pan "knife")
thankfully, steve didn't need to hide being peter pan this year! hannah was more than amazed that her daddy was able to transform into such a dreamy disney character. he really is the best daddy/husband!

Wow that is probably the funniest story I have ever heard during the Halloween season. I always just played it safe in elementary school...just always be a ninja kids.

I love the Zelda story. It's one of my faves. I've used it a few times in talks/lessons. My favorite comment from your night out- the one about Steve being the gay prince from Shrek- so true. Nice teal pants, too.
