this past weekend, we were treated with a visit from two out of the six uncles. hannah and madeline couldn't be happier to spend time with their uncle dan and uncle joe. highlights of the weekend:
1. disney world. we're becoming regulars quickly. we happened to go on the hottest day of the year with a heat index of 120!
2. thanks to cinderella's magic, we not only got the uncles into disney world for FREE but we were also able to get our very own photo shoot with the princess in her castle! dreams really do come true...and hannah could not believe her eyes (i think she was a little confused by the whole thing but just kept shaking her head "yes" whenever we asked, "hannah, isn't 'arella so pretty?!")
3. cinderella showing "the princes" (meaning dan, joe, and steve) how to pose for the picture. if any of you know these guys, you would be cracking up too. loved it.
4. uncle dan sweeping us off our feet with a breakfast spectacular (inspired by Mom's Breakfast...thanks Cracker Barrell)
5. having stephen's brothers there for madeline's baby blessing.
6. watching how much fun hannah and madeline had being entertained by their uncles...they are such quality guys!
ready for more uncles to visit!

ya know, i can't figure out who your kids look like. maybe a perfect combination. anyways i love them and i don't even know them. well, i held hannah once way back in the day in the WILK...but they are soooo cute. perfect, you could say.
Verily, verily I send forth a decree into the land of uncles. There will be a series of contests each one more difficult than the next determining the Universe's best uncle. On the agenda:
1. The gauntlet.
2. Gator wrestling.
3. Something to do with spending time with the nieces. (optional)
any other ideas?
